Group 8760, together with its business partner Energy Services Group (ESG), now supplies Group 8760's Gas Industry Standards Board (GISB)-certified GISBAgent® software to 34 gas and electric companies, making GISBAgent the most widely used Internet communications solutions in the nation's competitive energy markets.
Many companies, including the majority of utility distribution companies participating in the deregulated New York State and Pennsylvania marketplaces, have licensed GISBAgent directly from Group 8760. Others have chosed to outsource their electronic data interchange and other e-commerce needs to ESG, which uses GISBAgent within the system architecture of its managed e-commerce services.
